Mega Nutrient Face Mask

If your little organic garden has been sprouting fruit and vegetables like a mad production line – congratulations! and why not give yourself a little treat for the work you put in to getting it started?

Here’s a face mask that is full of nutrients for your skin and incredibly easy to make partly from what your garden produces…

Ingredients:

  • a selection of fruit and/or vegetables (avoid grapes as they can be too harsh)
  • 1 teaspoon of plain yoghurt or almond oil (choose yoghurt if you have oily skin, and almond oil if you have dry skin)

Natural Face MaskMethod:

  1. Add your fruit and veg to a blender or food processor.
  2. Chop to a pulp.
  3. Strain off juice.
  4. Mix pulp and yoghurt, or pulp and almond oil.
  5. Spread mask over face. Avoid the delicate skin around your eyes.
  6. Relax for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Rinse with cool water.

Your skin will feel tingly and alive, yet incredibly soft for the rest of the day.

I can’t wait to try this on LTSH (Long Term Suffering Husband). He’ll give his usual sigh of intense patience while I ‘accidentally’ get some in his eye and up one nostril. Hoooo-haaaaa (evil laugh).
